FNRS Post-Doctoral Researcher (Chargé de recherches FNRS) at the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES), Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.
From 2006 to 2007 I worked at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development on a project aiming at evaluating investment incentives to firms located in South Italy, while in 2010 I was Research Associate at the Italian Ministry of the Economy and Finance where I built a factor model for forecasting Italian GDP. In 2006 and in 2009, I was also a member of two research research projects for the European Commission (DG Information Society) aiming at studying the diffusion and impact of information and communication technologies.
My research interests are time series econometrics, forecasting, factor models, macroeconomics, and systemic risk.
I received a laurea in Economics in 2004 from the University of "Roma Tre", a MA in Economics in 2005 from the University of Southern California, and a PhD in Economics in 2010 from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
