In the framework of the Partnership between SBS-EM and the UNICEF office in Burundi, researchers at Solvay Brussels School have just released a report on the drivers of inequality in Burundi’s education system. This week, the main findings of the report have been presented at a conference on Burundi organised by the NGO umbrella organisation 11.11.11 in Brussels, in the presence of representatives of the Government of Burundi, Belgian Development Cooperation, members of the diaspora and the NGO community.

Le prix du meilleur mémoire 2013 du Concours « Finance and Sustainability » a été décerné à Davide Forcella, diplômé du Master Complémentaire Conjoint en microfinance (co-organisé par l’Université Libre de Bruxelles, l’Université de Mons et l’Université de Paris-Dauphine). Ce prix récompense son mémoire rédigé sous la direction du Professeur Johan Bastiaensen et intitulé « Payments for Environmental Services and Microfinance: Proyecto Cambio in Nicaragua ».

Pushing the frontiers of management research in Brussels

In partnership with the VUB, Solvay Brussels School is launching a new "Management Research Seminar".

It is a congenial forum where, for a few hours, fellow researchers from foreign universities, who are at the forefront of knowledge in their field, can present ongoing research, foster debate and receive feedback. This initiative is original is that it offers a seminar designed specifically to address managerial research issues.
