The Belgian federation for Chemistry and Life Sciences, essenscia, organises its first Innovation Awards. Nicolas van Zeebroeck (SBS-EM) and Chris Forman (Georgia Tech College of Management) have sucessfully submitted their paper "From Wires to Partners: How the Internet Has Fostered R&D Collaborations Within Firms" to the scholarly journal Management Science.

Master student Benny Vossen qualifies for the international Henkel Innovation Challenge

Benny Vossen, current master student in Business Engineering (Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management - ULB) and Laura Famelaer (VUB), aka The Conceptors (their team codename) have won the belgian finale of the Henkel Innovation Challenge.
Their surprising product, Syoss Phoenix Repair, a shampoo that accelerates hair regrowth for people who have had to go through chemotherapy, won the challenge against 10 other belgian student team.
