The Solvay Management Research Seminar

Pushing the frontiers of management research in Brussels 

What is the latest thinking in management research today? Which high quality research is currently being undertaken in the field? To provide answers to these and other questions about current management topics, the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and the Department of Business (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) are introducing the ‘Solvay Management Research Seminar’. At each seminar, leading researchers will shed light on a broad range of management or even cross-disciplinary issues. Looking to stay abreast of what is currently making waves in the field of management? Wanting to mingle and network with peers in the know? Attending the Solvay Management Research Seminar is a perfect way to do just that, whether you are a fellow professor, a doctoral student or an executive. 

Seminar Themes: All topics of management, as defined by disciplines (including Marketing, Strategy, Organization, HR, corporate finance, Control and Accounting…) or cross-cutting issues (entrepreneurship, public management, Ethics and CSR, outsourcing and offshoring…).

Target Audience: ULB/VUB faculty, postdoctoral and doctoral researchers, as well as management executives interested in current research, colleagues from other universities and fields.

Frequency: About ten seminars during each academic year.

Schedule: One Tuesday per month, from 12:15-13:45, i.e. 90 minutes for presentation and questions, unless otherwise specified. See programme for dates.
